About Us
We are Keri and Sergio- the landscaping duo located out of Oakland California. We specialize in hardscape design, plant design, and plant care.
Keri has a love of all things plants and nature. She studied horticulture in St. Louis, where she earned her Bachelor degree in applied science. When designing, she makes sure to carefully select plants where they will thrive. She loves to prune and maintain gardens too. Keri has worked in the industry for 15 years.
Sergio grew up learning about the construction industry. He has a knack for landscape design and an unmatched artistic eye when it comes to stonework. When working in the garden, he designs with the lay of the land and finds the natural flow throughout the space. Sergio has worked in the industry for 15 years.
Who We Are
We are a family owned and operated landscaping company based out of Oakland, servicing the Bay Area. We design, install and maintain gardens from San Rafael, El Cerrito, Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville, Blackhawk, Lafayette, Orinda, Berkeley, Oakland, and more.
The idea for Sunshine Gardens came to fruition when Keri and Sergio decided to put their ideas and skill sets together to create the ultimate landscaping package.
We are a team of hard working individuals who love to be outside, garden, and be creative. We have established a crew of honest and positive people who take pride in their work.

Maintenance
We will assess your gardens particular needs and determine the frequency necessary for future visits. Our maintenance regime consists of any combination of these services:
weeding, fertilizing, deadheading, fruit tree pruning, small tree pruning, integrated pest management, mulching, planting/transplanting, soil amending, and more!
